PRIVACY POLICY
Banker Journal for iPhone ยท Effective 7 October 2026
Short version: the developer collects nothing. There are no accounts, no analytics, no advertising and no tracking. Your progress stays on your iPhone and, if you use iCloud, in your own private iCloud storage, which the developer cannot see.
WHAT THE APP STORES, AND WHERE
- On your device. The achievements you tick, your score, rating, net worth and app settings are saved on your iPhone so the app remembers them.
- In your iCloud (optional). If you are signed in to iCloud, the same progress is copied to the app's private database in your iCloud account so your devices stay in sync. It is stored by Apple under your Apple Account and is not accessible to the developer or to any other user. If you are not signed in, nothing leaves your device.
Achievements are pre-written, generic situations. The app has no free-text fields and never asks for your name, employer, contacts, location or any other personal information.
WHAT THE DEVELOPER RECEIVES
Nothing. The app contains no third-party SDKs, analytics, crash reporters or advertising, and it does not run its own servers.
PURCHASES
In-app purchases are processed entirely by Apple. The developer never receives your payment details. Apple's App Store terms and privacy policy apply to purchases, and Apple may share aggregate, non-identifying sales reports with the developer.
NOTIFICATIONS
If you turn on alerts, the reminders are scheduled locally on your iPhone. Nothing is sent to a server to deliver them, and you can turn them off at any time in Settings.
DELETING YOUR DATA
- Deleting the app removes the progress stored on your device.
- To remove the iCloud copy, open Settings on your iPhone, tap your name, then iCloud, then Manage Account Storage (or Manage Storage), choose Banker Journal and delete its data.
CHILDREN
The app is a satire of working life in finance and is not directed at children under 13.
CHANGES
If this policy changes, the new version will be posted on this page with a new effective date. A change that affected what is collected would be described in the app's update notes as well.
